Hello,
These are strange times for all of us, but our sense of community has never been stronger. We have really missed the normality of having you visit the farm, but this time has given us the opportunity to make some changes. Allow us to tell you more…
The farm has been in our family for over 40 years, and last year it was handed down a generation, to us, giving us the responsibility to determine its future.
Over the years there have been highs and lows; in the middle of winter when every water trough is frozen and when trees have blown down demolishing buildings, it can be difficult to conjure up any enthusiasm to continue with the farm. But this is more than a business to us; it is our way of life.
We run this farm as a family, the four of us, Debbie, Dave, Melissa, and Joe.
With the help and support of a few close friends, we aim to give you the experience of a working farm by welcoming you into our world. We are not a large corporation looking to make millions… We are a ‘no-frills’ working farm. We are rustic and raw, natural, and real and we are proud of that, but understandably we are not to everyone’s taste.
Our mission is to remain affordable so that all children from all areas of society can visit our farm; seeing a child smiling because they have just seen a llama for the first time is a reward like no other. The children living in our community will be our focus as we move forwards, and we hope to provide memorable experiences for you all, for many years to come.
Yes, we are a small, family-run, no-frills farm located on the outskirts of Haslington, a quiet picturesque village in Cheshire. But to you, we hope we can be so much more.
Perhaps we will see you soon?
Until then, stay safe.
Debbie, Dave, Melissa, and Joe
